Here is my DIY grinder that I finished this morning. It is an interpretation of many, but primarily the infamous KMG. I have to now disassemble it and paint all the parts but it is fully functional. This was mostly made from scrap steel and parts but as you can see there is a new AC motor and pulleys from various online suppliers. This was a ton of fun to build and I learned many new skills along the way.
I have yet to make a knife beyond kits, but that journey is about to start. Just need to get started on my DIY heat treat oven and I will be ready to ruin steel with the best of them.
